Discovering a sphere was only the beginning. Living with one is something else entirely…

In the near future, much of the globe wages war against the virtaiyu a high-tech alien race – and humanity’s greatest threat.

Drafted alongside all other seventeen-year-old males, Kaiba Cassidy prepares for the battlefront and struggles with leaving behind everything he has ever known. Simultaneously, Nassira Arujo works desperately in the Brazilian rainforest to keep her family’s refugee camp safe, and Emily Sursten tries to convince herself that the bliss of Australia can last.

Kaiba, Nassira and Emily have no idea that their fates are intertwined until each discovers an Elemental Sphere a mysterious orb that fuses to their bodies and bestows the capability to control an element of nature.

But the trio finds that their new powers come with unexpected consequences, and if they are to keep themselves and their loved ones safe, they will have to fight to prevent the elements from falling into the wrong hands while maintaining their humanity in the process…

Through the eyes of its three protagonists, Elementals The Seven Spheres relays a powerful young-adult, science fiction story about overcoming obstacles, facing unforeseen difficulties, and making the most of your powers—supernatural or otherwise—to protect friends and loved ones.

This book is a very good read, I really did enjoy it, but there are a few things that I feel, could have made it better. The plot was good, and you do grow to like the characters. But for once I think that this would have been a much better story if it was in a trilogy, or a 700pg novel instead of around 350pgs.

The most exciting parts, the training, took place 3 quarters of your way through the book, and at that point you'll realize that there's not many pages left in the story to go over more than a single training session, which would have been very interesting coming from more than 3 characters (kind of like the hunger games training).

The plot itself was SPED UP near the last 30 pages. What seemed like a calm time was immediately made into World War 3 and the epic final fight.........itself is ended...very quickly. The brief few pages that do go in depth are exhilarating, but it just seems so rushed that it was hard to fully enjoy it knowing that the book was ending soon.

There are a few spelling mistakes, that's not really an issue. But then the book leaves you not knowing about a lot of what happens next. I read another book before this one called "Sixth Cycle" by Darren Wearmouth, and although the plots are not similar in the slightest, they both have a very similar tempo. Except in Wearmouth's. the cliffhanger ending is immediately ended in the last 3 pages by having a very satisfying conclusion. I think something like that could have worked here, but I do like the option for more in the future to be written.

Great Job to Jared Files.

Elementals The Seven Spheres eBook Jared Files Reviews

Loved this book, and I barely read. As I read the book I could imagine all the scenes happening right infront of me. Book instantly sucks you in the very first chapter. Really interesting and goes into such depth which makes the read so much better. Can't recall a single chapter that didn't blow you away. Awesome book.
the plot is great, the whole element manipulation blending well with some military aspects enticed me completely. the more I get into the story, the harder it was to put the book down, which is a bad thing when you have midterms around the corner.

overall I love the book, and am waiting in anticipation for the next one. Great job, Jared, now churn out the sequel!
Pacing is furiously fast, like watching a video game as I read. Wonderfully descriptive, I was drawn into a world where the young must turn the tide or lose the Earth. The author displays a command of language and imagery, able to portray in brief exchanges who his characters are and how they adapt to new-found gifts, each other and the mission. A skillful blend of a huge story and appealing heroes, I couldn't put this book down!
Ha, my daughter knows this young man so I bought the book. It's well-written and kept my interest. Good book!
I really hope that the author makes a second book, there are to many unanswered questions like, what happened to the wind sphere? and will the leader come back and try to take vengeance? MAKE A SECOND BOOK!!! but anyways i really enjoyed this book, i could not put it down, (i read this book in 3 days). I really suggest this book( if you enjoy reading fantasy and elemental books)
I loved everything about this book! As someone who doesn't normally read sci-fi, I was wary of what it was going to be like. However, from the first chapter I was hooked! There's something about the author' style of writing that keeps the reader immersed in the story and keeps them turning the page. The author's creative imagery made the story read like a movie. Each character speaks something unique to the reader and it is the love for the characters that makes me excited for the sequel!
This was an amazing book by such a young author. I am not a sci-fi fan but couldn't seem to put this one down, looking forward to the next one! The character development was a little slow but once it going go, it was non-stop. The imagination of such a young mind is a wonderful thing to see and to be able to put thoughts into writing is such a special talent. Really hope this gets made into a film someday.
